SUMMIT GROUP WEB PAGE – UPDATE
Thank you, everyone, for getting me your profile photos, bios and curriculum introductions.
Our web page is going to be very helpful to those wanting to navigate our Adult Biblical Teaching and Learning ministry.
The web page will “go live” April 1st.
As of this posting, we are at 16 registered students. That’s a 300% increase over last semester! I am thrilled at the response of our people to be lifelong learners – especially at the seminary level.
Deadline to register as an auditor/reader is Sunday, March 17th. Class begins on Tuesday, the 19th.
If time permits you to attend, please prayerfully consider this opportunity to study deeply the four gospels. Theological learning has never been easier. And it’s absolutely free for BHBC members.
Dr. Matt Baird is scheduled to teach New Testament I – The Gospels (SWBLI 5211).
The term begins Tuesday, March 19. Final class is Tuesday, May 7.
Here is the course description: An introduction to the Gospels. These writings will be studied in terms of historical setting, religious background, literary composition, theological message, and interrelationship with the Old Testament.
Textbook: Should you choose to purchase the textbook you can click here. The book, new, can be a little pricey. But Amazon, at least presently, offers several used copies from around $20. (and the used copies are usually in great shape.)
Click here to register through BHBC to audit the course.
AIN’T NO GRAVE
I’ll be covering for Machenzee this Sunday, 3/10, in the late service and we’re going to be singing this song I heard recently. If you like blues/bluegrass/country flavors of music you’re gonna love this one. Strong lyrics. Enjoy…
