INTER-GENERATIONAL CONNECTIONS

Our deadline to have contacted the Summit Group with whom I’ve connected you is Father’s Day Sunday, June 16th.  The goal is to simply introduce yourself (if needed), get connected and start the ball rolling.  I’ll follow up the week of the 17th to check on your status.

Should you need to refresh your memory regarding the group with whom you’ve been connected simply look at last week’s Navigator by clicking here.

WELL DONE, LOWE’S.  WELL DONE.

When I saw this last Monday I stopped in my tracks.  I learned from a friend of mine in Oklahoma City that this was a company-wide effort to honor the fallen at every store throughout our country.  I took this photo at our Lowe’s here in Lubbock.

QUOTE of the WEEK

During my grad studies, a fellow classmate offered this parallel between the Orcs of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy and the insidious patter of severe depression.  As one who suffers from depression, I thought the imagery was brilliant.

LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE

Sometimes I see this photos on social media and lament to myself, “And this person is probably registered to vote!”  🙂
