THIS SUNDAY, 8/11
Primary Text: Hebrews 10:23-25
What is the PRAY FOR ME campaign?
It’s a church-wide emphasis on intercessory prayer. We are asking our people to go to the BHBC web site and sign up to help us know you would like to participate. After signing up you will be partnered with another family or individual. Deadline to sign-up and be partnered with someone is the 18th.
To provide an opportunity for people to get to know they’re prayer partners, food trucks will be on site on the 25th so you can get something to eat and eat lunch together in the FLC.
You can sign up by clicking here.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES for WESTER & NAT WILLIAMS
I am married to a school teacher. Every summer, as we walk through a store that is stocked up on school supplies, Michelle will start piling pencils and folders in our basket for the sole purpose of handing them out to children whose families have a difficult time purchasing these items on their own.
This Sunday, you will find in your tray a list of supplies needed by August 12th. Each class has been assigned specific items. Would you please encourage your class to help? Thank you so much.

WATTS WEDDING(S) ITINERARY
I’ve been asked to print the itinerary listing the dates & times of the events in the Watts family the next two weeks as we travel the planet and back. Here you go:
***First of all, Johannesburg is 7 hours ahead of us.***
South Africa: We depart DFW Sunday, 8/11, at 6:10pm. Layover in Qatar. Arrive Johannesburg Tuesday, 8/13, at 9:50am (all South Africa times are local). Wedding is 3:00pm on Friday, 8/16, in Johannesburg. We depart Johannesburg the next day, Sat, 8/17, at 1:45pm, layover again in Qatar, and arrive back at DFW on Sunday, 8/18, at 3:30pm (God’s time). After going through customs, fetching our luggage and vehicles, we’ll drive straight to Branson.
USA: Branson wedding is Tuesday, 8/20, at 6:30pm. Michelle and I depart Branson the next morning, 8/21. I am dropping her off at the airport in Tulsa where she’s catching a plane the rest of the way home so she can be at work on Thur morning (FISD begins classes on 8/19). I will then head south to just north of Dallas to officiate a former youth’s wedding on Friday, 8/23. I will finally drive back to Lubbock on 8/24. So it shall be written – so it shall be done. nw

QUOTE of the WEEK
LAUGHTER IS GOOD MEDICINE
GRACE NOTES: Helping Hurry God Along (Hint: that’s a horrible idea)
All of us, at one time or another, have thought God was working way too slow. My advice: don’t interfere. Read the blog here.
